Variable grades
Different Titanium grades are used, depending on the corrosion resistance, tensile strength and ductility values
Solid Titanium
Titanium Clad
Solid titanium offers strength and corrosion resistance.
Titanium clad applications require materials with lower oxygen content and no aluminum to increase ductility, which is essential for effective cladding.

Titanium products
A wide range of titanium products is manufactured for several applications across various industries. Each application has unique requirements, different titanium grades are selected based on performance needs. Factors such as corrosion resistance, tensile strength, and ductility are carefully considered to ensure each product delivers the reliability and durability required for its specific use.
Pressure vessels
PEF vessels
— PTA, BrineDesigned for high-pressure operations involving aggressive media. These vessels ensure long-term corrosion resistance while maintaining structural integrity in extreme process conditions.
Drum vessels
— PTA, BrineCompact, corrosion-resistant storage and process vessels engineered for reliability and long service life in corrosive environments.
Crystallizers
Engineered to handle demanding crystallization processes under varying thermal and chemical conditions, with titanium offering exceptional anti-fouling and corrosion resistance.
Reactors
Oxidation reactors
— PTA, BrineCustom-built oxidation reactors capable of withstanding aggressive chemical reactions at elevated pressures and temperatures — ensuring safe and efficient process control.
Columns
Absorber columns
— PTA, BrineHigh-efficiency absorber columns for gas-liquid mass transfer, constructed to resist corrosive feedstocks and maintain mechanical stability over time.
Dehydration columns
— PTADesigned to remove moisture from chemical streams with minimal contamination and maximum reliability under corrosive process conditions.
Rectification columns
— PTAPrecision-engineered for fractionation and separation processes, with excellent resistance to process-induced stress and thermal cycling.
Recovery columns

S&T Heat exchangers
Preheaters
— PTA, BrineEfficient preheating units with titanium internals, reducing fouling and ensuring consistent thermal performance across high-throughput operations.
Condensors
— PTATitanium condensers engineered for high thermal conductivity and corrosion resistance, providing reliable condensation even in highly corrosive process streams.
Titanium Applications
Ti unalloyed or alloyed grades are used in chemical, petrochemical, mining, or desalination applications. Due to chlorination reactions, Titanium is the main material used for these applications.
PTA
Purified Terephthalic Acid (PTA) is one of the essential raw materials used in manufacturing high-performance multipurpose plastics. These include polyethylene terephthalate (PET), poly-butyl terephthalate(PBT) and bioplastics. This material also has a high demand for manufacturing polyester fibers for clothes, polyester coating resins, and plastics bottles.
Nickel/Cobalt, Gold mining
For Nickel and Cobalt, HPAL (High Pressure Acid Leaching) technology is commonly used to extract nickel and Cobalt from laterate ore bodies. This process utilizes elevated temperatures and pressures (>250 °C, and > 50 barg) combined with sulfuric acid to separate nickel and cobalt.
Chlor Alkali
Chlor Alkali is an industrial process for the electrolysis of sodium chloride (NaCl) solutions, commonly used in the chemical industry.
Brine Purification
Brine purification used during the fabrication of EPOXY resins is a technique which requires equipment using high end oxotic materials like Ti GR17 and Zirconium materials. Coek has fabricated equipment (Columns, reactors and heat exchangers) for the brine treatment technology patented by KVT in Austria.
PEF
PEF is a polymer that can be produced by polycondensation of furandicarboxylic acid (FDCA) and ethylene glycol. As an aromatic polyester from ethylene glycol, it is a chemical analogue of PET (polyethylene terephthalate), but is considered as a bio-based replacement of PTA in the production of PET.
Projects
Coek has delivered a range of landmark titanium projects worldwide, from chemical and renewable plants to mining operations. Each project showcases its expertise in designing and fabricating solid, clad, and custom titanium equipment for demanding processes.
