PTA Equipment – SASA Project
For the SASA polyester plant in Turkey, Coek supplied a series of titanium vessels and heat exchangers for the PTA process. The scope included both solid and clad titanium equipment, as well as high-performance preheaters. The fabrication was executed in close collaboration with the EPC contractor Tecnicas Reunidas.

- Ti-clad and solid titanium vessels (F423, F406, F421)
- Ti GR1-clad vessel D-511
- Preheaters with Ti GR9 tubes
- Preheaters with 2RK65™ tubes
Material Highlights
- Titanium Grade 1 (clad and solid) for corrosion resistance
- Titanium Grade 9 for high-pressure, high-temperature applications
- 2RK65™ duplex alloy for enhanced mechanical performance
The SASA project underlines Coek’s ability to deliver critical equipment for PTA plants, integrating multiple titanium grades and alloys in accordance with licensor and EPC specifications. The preheaters are part of Coek’s engineered solution for high-efficiency heat exchange in PTA production.
